what you need to know about my group’s ismark is that he is deeply abnormal in ways

tell me about your group’s ismark please I want to know

so with my irl party we saw him like once so not much has happened with him BUT i have a made up campaign in my head where he ends up joining the party after ireena found out she wasnt safe Anywhere and just decided to stay with the party (he joined to keep her safe and left the village in the care of his uncle) he's genuinely so so gentle but also he is the king of repressing his emotions until he lashes out and gets embarrassed about it hes protective to the point of being self sacrificing (which causes his death. dont worry he comes back straight after <3) pretty good at manual work and dabbles in artistic endeavours. he started writing poetry to vent out his anxiety and depression and tbh its more decent than he thinks wine snob but not annoying about it. he bonded with one of the bards in the party over wine (whomst he has mixed feelings about because shes dating strahd) his soul's previous reincarnation was a werewolf so now on full moons he acts weird also he started secretly worshipping mother night because he thought that his prayers to the morninglord weren't being answered and he got desperate. also because of his previous reincarnation and because of his mother havong a more positive view of her he ends up with the party druid who he is lowkey convinced is a reincarnation of mother night cuz she can turn into beasts; shes covered in moon symbols; and she showed up right when he started praying to her anyways. my ismark is a weird little guy who tries So So Hard to be Normal. also hes asexual <3 dnd curse of strahd ismark kolyanovich

Asexuals were always part of pride and it really fucking shows when people think it's a recent term.

hungry-skeleton

Although not going by the term "asexual" yet, asexuality was spoken about alongside homosexuality as far back as the 1890s. Asexual history is just as vital to queer history as any other term and I'm so tired of watching us being treated like a new thing

If you went to university, what was the most common title for you to use to refer to your professors as an undergraduate? (Choose the linguistic equivalent if you didn't go to an English-language uni)

Dr.

Prof.

Mr./Ms./etc.

Their first names

Something else (in tags)

Feel free to elaborate further in the tags, especially if you picked Option 3 because as a professor myself it MYSTIFIES me that there are students who do that! (Also, unless it is just the Culture at your school or something, you should not do that. For future reference)

first names or last names it depended on what felt Right

imagine if the 5e CoS module had treated the women of the story as worthy of doing actually something and not just being bait for strahd. imagine patrina!! she could have been so cool!! how i wish they would have dived deeper into the stories of madame eva, babalysaga, patrina, even ravenovia! idk, im kinda bitter.

RIGHTTTT???? im still so mad they nerfed down ireena tbh 5e did so many characters wrong but the women got the worst of it when you have to refer to previous editions for details on the female characters its p damn sad also like. im so sad the reduced the female characters to victims of strahd. especially considering strahd had some pretty normal relationships with women that he considered equals in the novels im explaining it very badly but tldr im also bitter dnd curse of strahd
